Terms of Service

Veerelo operates an online marketplace and technology platform that connects travelers ("Guests") with property owners and managers ("Hosts"). Veerelo is solely an intermediary.

Veerelo does not own, operate, manage, control, supervise, inspect, or guarantee any property listed on the platform. Veerelo is not a hotel operator, travel agency, or property manager, and is not a party to any rental agreement between a Guest and a Host.

All information about a property — including photos, videos, descriptions, amenities, availability, pricing and policies — is provided by the Host. Veerelo does not verify, endorse or guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality or safety of any listing.

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account, make bookings, publish listings, or enter into transactions through Veerelo. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

Veerelo may, at its sole discretion, request proof of age and suspend or terminate any account that does not meet this requirement. The platform is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

To use most features of the platform you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Not create fraudulent, duplicate or automated accounts.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including tax, consumer protection and tourism regulations.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@veerelo.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

Hosts are solely responsible for their listings, including:

• The accuracy of all listing information, including titles, descriptions, photos, videos, amenities and house rules.
• The condition, cleanliness, safety and legal compliance of the property.
• Availability, pricing, taxes and fees displayed on the listing.
• Obtaining any required permits, licenses, registrations or insurance.
• Honouring confirmed bookings and treating Guests fairly and respectfully.

Veerelo may remove or modify listings that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our content policies, at our sole discretion.

When a Guest books a stay, a direct contractual agreement is formed between the Guest and the Host. Veerelo is not a party to this agreement and assumes no responsibility for the performance of either party.

Veerelo facilitates the booking by communicating availability, processing payments, and providing communication tools. Confirmation messages issued by Veerelo do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the underlying stay.

Guests must comply with the Host's house rules, applicable check-in/check-out times, and local regulations. Hosts must make the property available as described and respond to Guest communications in good faith.

Payments on the platform are processed by licensed third-party payment service providers. By making or receiving a payment you agree to the terms of the applicable payment provider in addition to these Terms.

Veerelo may charge service fees, commissions and other charges ("Service Fees"). Applicable Service Fees are displayed before you complete a booking or list a property.

Veerelo is not liable for delays, errors or losses caused by payment providers, banks, card networks, exchange-rate fluctuations or your local financial institutions.

Each listing displays the cancellation policy that applies to it (Flexible, Moderate, Limited or Firm). The policy in effect at the time of booking governs refund eligibility.

Refund amounts are calculated automatically based on the chosen policy and the number of days remaining before check-in. Service Fees may be non-refundable. See the Cancellation & Refund Policy for full details.

Hosts who cancel confirmed bookings may be subject to penalties, including loss of fees, calendar blocks, and removal of the listing for repeat violations.

Users may upload photos, videos, reviews, comments, captions, stories and other content ("User Content") to the platform. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By uploading User Content you grant Veerelo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, publish, publicly perform and display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the platform and its marketing.

Prohibited content includes (but is not limited to):

• Illegal content or content that promotes illegal activity.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• Fraudulent, misleading or deceptive content, including fake reviews.
• Harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination on any protected basis.
• Sexually explicit material, gratuitous violence, or content harmful to minors.
• Spam, malware, or attempts to circumvent platform safeguards.
• Personal contact details, off-platform booking attempts, or payment circumvention.

Veerelo may, at its sole discretion, remove or restrict access to any User Content that violates these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veerelo, its directors, employees, contractors, affiliates and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including without limitation:

• The quality, condition, cleanliness, safety, accuracy or legality of any property or listing.
• The acts, omissions, conduct or content of any Host, Guest or other user.
• Theft, loss or damage to personal property; personal injury or death.
• Travel disruptions, weather, strikes, transport delays, illness, or force majeure events.
• Lost profits, revenues, savings or business opportunities.
• Errors, downtime, security breaches, or data loss arising from the platform.

You use the platform at your own risk. Where liability cannot be excluded, the total aggregate liability of Veerelo for any claim shall not exceed the total Service Fees you paid to Veerelo in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

Disputes that arise between Guests and Hosts — including disagreements over the condition of a property, the conduct of either party, damages, or payment — are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.

Veerelo may, but is not obligated to, assist with communication, evidence review, refund coordination or other mediation. Any decision made by Veerelo in that context is at its sole discretion and does not constitute legal advice or arbitration.

The Veerelo name, logo, brand, software, source code, designs, databases, trademarks, trade dress and all related materials are owned by Veerelo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of any part of the platform without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

Veerelo may suspend, restrict or terminate your account, remove listings, or take down User Content at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, applicable law, our content or community policies, or to protect the safety, security or integrity of the platform.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability, intellectual property, governing law and dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the platform, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Veerelo may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app and will require re-acceptance before continued use.
